Product description

Flying dragon inspired by dragons from Game of Thrones.

Printing settings

Wings has only one layer so printer have to be good calibrated.

First layer have to be perfect for good flight.

I use PLA but you can experiment with other filaments

PEI sheet ensure best quality because after print and cool down the whole dragon body can be remove without bends

If you have other types of sheets and adhesion is very large, remove dragon body carefully because if you bend it to much the flights might be not too good.

Body printing:

  • 0,2 mm layer,
  • Use organic, tree support because legs need it. Be gentle with removing support, because foot of the leg can break off.
  • You can change color by use color change option in slicer. You can do it on second layer

Head printing

  • 0,2 mm layer
  • 100 % infill for good balance. It's weight should be around 3 grams. It may be little difference due to various density of PLA filament
  • Print with position as it is. Tilted 45 degree
  • Raft 3 layers
  • Support on bed only, grid style ( no tree, organic)

Instruction

Once printed, press the head onto the body. It should fit tight without glue.

Bend up the tail a little and throw dragon like dart or paper plane.
